Wranglers Dedicate Heritage Room

April 4, 2025

Col. Julie A. Maxwell, the commander of the 4th Division Sustainment Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, and Amy Moore, the wife of former brigade commander Col. James M. Moore, unveil a plaque which names the brigade’s heritage room “Moore’s Muster” at the room’s naming ceremony. Moore’s Muster connects current Wrangler Brigade Soldiers to the unit’s history and accomplishments and cements Moore’s enduring legacy within the organization. Command Sgt. Maj. Aaron Campanella, Command Sgt. Maj. of the 4th Division Sustainment Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, presented a plague of gratitude to Mrs. Moore at the ceremony.  Amy Moore is a Memorial Life Member of the 4th Infantry Division Association. This plaque located near the 4th Infantry Division Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) Memorial at Ft Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood), Texas, memorializes the Soldiers who died when their Army helicopter crashed into a TV transmission tower in heavy fog while on a mission to inspect equipment being readied for deployment to Iraq. Col. James M. Moore was one of the seven Soldiers who died in the crash.
