Maj. Gen. David S. Doyle, Commanding General 4th Infantry Division and Fort Carson
Maj. Gen. David Doyle received his commission in theinfantry from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1993 with aBachelor of Science in Military History. He is a graduate of the Command andGeneral Staff College, the School of Advanced Military Studies, and theNational War College in Washington, DC.Doyle’s previous assignments include Chief of Staff ofUnited States Central Command, Commanding General of the Joint ReadinessTraining Center and Fort Polk, Deputy Commanding General for Support of the82nd Airborne Division; Director of Operations, CJ3, Combined Joint Task Force,Operation Inherent Resolve in Baghdad, Iraq; Commander of Operations Group atthe Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, Louisiana; Chief of Staff ofthe 7th Infantry Division; Commander of the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team“Commandos”, 10th Mountain Division deployed in Kandahar, Afghanistan; Directorof Operations, CJ3, for the NATO Special Operations Component Command –Afghanistan/Special Operations Joint Task Force – Afghanistan; Commander of the2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division; andcompany commander of Bravo Company, 3rd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regimentand Bravo Company, 2-325th Airborne Infantry Regiment.
